dont you think its weird. dont you think its weird that the space race last time was two of the biggest powers in the world. and now its a handful of rich men. dont you think its weird they can afford that. dont you think its bad that rich men can afford the same things as the government.
dont you think its weird that while the world is suffering and poverty is everywhere, where there’s wars and climate change and human pain and homelessness. the same month I’ve watched people die on the news from unbearable heat and unprecedented flooding. that a rich handful of men are going to space, causing more carbon emissions. dont you think its weird that instead of putting their vast amount of money to use for good they’re using it to find a way off the planet theyre destroying.
this is the funniest post on this site. everyone go home. nothing is ever going to be better than actual neil gaiman, on tumblr dot com, answering this ask.
the most painful social interactions are when you miscalculate someone’s meme literacy and reference something and the person/group doesn’t get it and u have to half-heartedly explain it knowing FULL well it’s 0% funny if people don’t have the full convoluted context of the joke and u feel the flames of hell start to lick at ur feet as they all give u a pity laugh
It’s not bug related but I just needed to share how excited I am that my very sickly betta, Fishwilliam, who has had struggled with fin rot and swim bladder issues since I got him from my neglectful cousin, is finally doing very well!!! He started making a bubble nest today and I nearly wept.
Please send him your fish love so he can feel it in his fish bones and continues to improve!
A capybara with an orange on its head in the annual capybara open-air bath at the Izu Shaboten Zoo 🍊
[Image Description: A series of 4 gifs of a capybara in a pool. It is surrounded by mandarin oranges floating all around it. In the first gif it is sort of slumped over, with the lower part of its head in the water. There’s an orange perfectly perched on its head. It blinks a few times in the second gif and moves slightly, turning towards the camera. In the third gif and fourth gifs the capybara has its head fully out of the water, looking directly at the camera, blinking and moving its head slightly back and forth. The last photo is text that reads “do not delete caption.” End description]
